- Is clippal out?
- It’s in public beta and usable today. It’s invite-by-email for now: drop your address below and we’ll send you the build with setup steps, usually within a day. Expect the occasional rough edge — 1.0 is where it all gets polished.
- Why email instead of a download button?
- Two reasons. It keeps the beta a personal handoff so we can help you get set up and hear your feedback, and it keeps delivery off the website entirely — the app only ever reaches you as an email from us, never a link on a page.
- Which Macs does the beta support?
- Apple Silicon Macs (M-series) on a recent version of macOS. Intel support may come later.
- How do updates work once I have it?
- clippal updates itself. It checks once a day and offers new versions from inside the app — one click installs and relaunches. You can also check manually, or turn the automatic check off, from the menu bar.
- Where is my clipboard data stored?
- On your Mac, on-device. clippal doesn’t upload your history to a server, and there’s no account. Your clips stay yours.
- Will it be free?
- The beta is free to use. We’ll share long-term pricing closer to 1.0.
- What will you do with my email?
- Send you the beta and, later, a single note when 1.0 ships. We won’t share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
